He, himself, was a Kriya yogi. My father, as told to me by him, got initiation into “Kriya Yoga” from my grandfather, Late Ganga Dutt Tripathi. My grandfather was initiated into “Kriya Yoga” by great mystic Kriya Yogi of 19th century “Lahiri Mahaseya” (Mahasamadhist Shyama Charan Lahiri). That way my father was my first guru. He always reminded me to be devotee first than a Raj Yogi. I always consider myself first as a devotee of “Lord Rama” and then a humble follower of Raj Yoga. He also instructed me to choose, besides doing Raj Yoga practices, one of the “G” out of five “Gs”: Ganga, Gayatri, Gau, Geeta and Guru. And seeing my temperament and approach to life he instructed me to serve and follow “The Ganga”, the most sacred river of India for spiritual growth. With these instructions from my father, also my guru, I started my spiritual life and Raj Yoga practices on the bank of “The Ganga” in the city of Allahabad in India, at an age of 15 years.

Early introduction to Raj Yoga helped me to understand the purpose of life, the transitory nature of material world, importance of peace of mind for interaction in material world… Joining an engineering institute as a teacher gave to me freedom to interact with young ambitious minds and to study the finer aspects of flowering mind with age. Freedom to work as professional structural consultant exposed me to the attractive world of money and material. But, all trough these living, my yoga practices helped me to keep my foot on the ground. Interacting with foreign engineering students in my institute helped me to understand the conditioned minds of different faith and belief. I never missed a chance to expose my students to yogic vision for human life and got a very satisfactory response. Being a very serious observer of human behavior, it always helped me to understand the tricks of ever running mind.

Since late 1970’s, I started travelling all over India to get blessings, guidance and to interact with Siddhi Yogis of South (Courtallam, Palani, Pondicherry, etc.) and Nath Yogis and Raj Yogis of North (Himalayas: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamnotri , Rishikesh, etc.). I stayed and practiced at all Sacred places along my mother “Ganga”.

As a result of assurance to my father, I kept contact with him and family till he left his mortal body in 1999. Immediately after his departure, I left my all worldly and professional contacts and started living as wandering Yoga seeker.

Since “Maha Kumbha Mela” in Allahabad in 1989, the famous religious congregation of India, I started sharing Yoga experiences and serving common seekers. I always impressed that “Yoga is a way of life”, not a sedentary practicing path.

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCES

My area of interest was always the young age group between 7 to 21 years. I can summarize my experiences of all these past years as yoga practitioner in following points:

1) Emotional aspect of human existence is the foundation of successful life.
2) Purpose of Life: Human life is an inside process. External world (material world) can’t define the purpose of life. External world can help in understanding and realizing the purpose of human life. Purpose of Life is: To realize that our existence is absolute, that it never changes, that it is free of space and time. We can call it Soul or Consciousness or Spirit… Material world, including all Nature’s Creation (physical body, mind, intellect…) exist because of this Absolute existence. Material pursuits, building relationships and mundane living may described as goal or role or aim of an individual personal life, but, are not purpose of human life.
3) Bliss, Positivity (Love, Compassion…) are our inherent state. They need not to be created. They need to be released free from shackles of negativity. Negativity is unnatural to our original state of being, that has to be removed.
4) Karma and their fruits and Sanskaras (habits or impressions or nature) play a vital part in molding one’s life. Seeing perfectly born children suffering from serious diseases by de age of four-five years strongly reinforced my belief in Karma and Sanskara.
5) Mind and free will (a gift of God to humans) are the key for realizing the purpose of life, to know oneself. Mind is a two-way bridge between our absolute existence and the external world.

At last I would like to mention that no words can define the internal experiences. Why? Because senses have no reach to that state. No scientific instrument can catch the results of these experiences. That is why, the internal experiences, spiritual experiences are called “Mystic Experiences”. But, for each and every human being, there is no mysticism in internal experiences. Only condition is: Travel inside. Go to the core, the absolute existence, the origin, the source.

My message to all spiritual seekers is to remain a seeker, a student, a humble disciple, for life, if you want to fully evolve.

Kalyani

Co-Founder of YKK – Italia

Kalyani was born in Italy in 1951, in a traditional Catholic family and was always very attracted to spiritual topics, looking for the best answers for her mind always thirsty for knowledge.

This research took her to Panama where she studied Sacred Books and various Vedic Scriptures under the guidance of few Eastern Spiritual Masters that taught her the right way to live with a spiritual consciousness in this material world. Introduced to the world of Yoga she begun to practice the eight Principles of Yoga Patanjali, first of all the ten rules of conduct, including non-violence, choosing vegetarianism. It was introduced in the powerful field of vital energy by practicing Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Meditation. As a devotee of the Lord, in 2006’s trip to Navadvip, West Bengal in India, on the banks of the Ganges, where she met his Gurudeva, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja who gave to her the Spiritual Name “Kalyani Gauranga Dasi”. She received the degree of Master of Reiki in India, by a great Master of the line as Mikao Usui Traditional Reiki. She studied astrology under the guidance of an Argentine astrologer and she studied the various systems of healing with stones and crystals according to ancient Eastern traditions.

As a Reiki Master she developed the four levels (spiritual, mental, emotional and physical) of the system of Reiki. To achieve this deep connection with the true Essence is not just swap four symbols Reiki during a formal initiation process, this comes only through personal growth and work on herself that slowly has occupied more and more time in the life of Kalyani since the 80s.

She was counselor and speaker in her own center for personal growth for many years. Through seminars, meditations and Yoga she was a spiritual guide for hundreds of people, teaching them how to control their minds and cultivate a deep love for the Lord and His Creation.

In 1995 a tragic accident paralyzed her legs, but with her strength of mind, with faith and knowledge, she could recover mobility. In 2004, with the blessing of Lord Jagannath, she came to Puri, India. Puri is one of the most ancient sacred places of India sprawled around the majestic temple of Lord Jagannath, better known as the Lord of the Universe, and the adobe of Vedic Philosophy. In Puri she experienced the miracle of Yoga. In 2008, she met the Spiritual Master and Yogi Kakuji Maharaj, and this meeting will change her life in final form. Introduced by Master Kakuji to Raj Yoga and to the mystical Yoga Nidra, she started rigorous spiritual practices to achieve a higher level of evolution. With great willpower and determination, patience and tolerance maintaining incessantly her spiritual practices, she was able to experience how the doors of Reality have begun to open out and surprisingly his physical body, with serious limitations, began to recover. In this holy place she can experience the magic of spirituality and embarks on the path of renunciation, following the example of his Master and Guru Kakuji Maharaj.

About Yoga Kalyana Kendra

Coming soon.

Yoga Kalyana Kendra
Associazione senza fine di lucro
Padenghe sul Garda
Brescia

Affiliata a:

Kakuji Maharaj Spiritual Master Founder of YKK – Italia Non-Profit Association Being born in an orthodox Vaishnavite Brahmin family, initiated me into path of devotion, “The Bhakti”, and being native of small town of “Almora” in Himalaya, always helped and encouraged me to rigorously pursue the path of “Raj Yoga”.” My Father, Late Pitamber Tewari, initiated…
