Emotional health is a foundation of a successful human life. Whole Cosmos is a medium for flow of Cosmic Energy, including animates and inanimates. Whenever this energy gets blocked in any human being, blocked energy creates lot many psychological and physical disorders. Such person adds age to his/her life without adding life to his/her age. Observing following interesting phenomena in human growth:

  • A child, just three Kg. at the time of birth, becomes ten Kg. in one year in weight. In no part of life he/she grows, physically, three times in a year.
  • Once a child crosses five-six years age, he/she loves to hug, to embrace others and want to be loved. He/she expresses out his/her natural emotion openly. Such behavior is observed up to thirteen-fourteen yrs of age.
  • Why we call a girl/boy immature to take a serious decision of life when he/she is sixteen-seventeen years of age? What he/she lacks, to be allowed for taking independent decision? Why marriage age or voting right restrictions are put at eighteen-twenty one years, by society or social laws in such immature individuals.

Scientific explanations are:

  • Physical growth predominates other aspects of human growth up to seven years of age of a child.
  • Emotional growth predominates during seven to fourteen years of age. During this part of age, if child is not allowed his/her emotional feelings, this emotional energy gets blocked. Such emotional blocks affect whole life of an individual. These deep seated emotional blocks are the basic cause of almost all psychological disorders, which, later manifest at physical level also.
  • Up to twenty one year of age full conscious mind (thinking mind) and Intellect (analytical mind) don’t come into play. So the child, addressed as immature, is not capable of taking independent right decisions.

Any child carrying blocked emotional energy lacks self control, self esteem, and capacity to adjust in external situations. He/she finds difficulties in building relationship in family, in society and in work place, in later stages of his/her life. Such children need help to regularly release such blocked emotional energy. Problematic children belong to either of the following two categories:

  • Hypo-Active Type: They have typical withdrawal symptoms. They find difficulty in interacting with other children. This group, generally carry having emotional blocks.
  • Hyper-Active Type: Such children have overactive energy field and unable to channelize the energy due to same minor emotional blocks.

Programs for Students

YKK is offering and running a special program for children, above six years of age, in schools. Purpose of this program is to bring balance in the emotional body of the children. YKK program is based on the principles of “Raj Yoga”, using mild “Asanas”, “Pranayam” (breathing practices) and “Meditation” to build awareness. Children are given training in “Yoga” in a playful way, without taxing their tender body and mind.

These programs of YKK are giving nice results. For example:

  • Hypo/Hyper children calmed down to normal level and interact nicely with fellow class mates.
  • A marked improvement in their focus and concentration on study has been observed.
  • Their analytical capacity improved remarkably, after completion of initial set of programs.
  • Overall improvement in memory has been observed in everyday activities.

Program’s Structure:

Programs are offered depending on the age group. For example:

  • For seven to ten years: A nine hours’ program is recommended for these children. Six days (two weeks – alternative day), with one and half hour for day scheme.
  • For eleven to thirteen years: A thirteen and half hours’ program is recommended for these adolescents. Nine days (three weeks – alternative day), with one and half hour for day scheme. These adolescents need a strict disciplined following towards general living, along with practices.

Even after completing a program in a school, YKK volunteers constantly monitor the group for their progress and improvements in general in day to day life. YKK’s these programs are purely non-profitable and with a mission to improve the quality of citizen, these children will add into Society in their adult life. After all, these children will be the torchbearers of Society.
